From a 24-hour dare to a hybrid race.
There are races. And there are days that redefine what you can do.
Steelman was born in 2021 from a challenge among best friends: complete 24 hours of sport without giving up. What seemed impossible became an unforgettable victory. Since then, more athletes have taken on the challenge to push their limits and forge themselves into Steel Athletes.
It is the first hybrid format to combine endurance and maximal strength across 8 events and 7+ disciplines, in two versions: H12 (individual or team of 2) and H24 (team of 2). Cross the line and the name is yours: I am a Steelman.

Everything you need to know before you line up.
Is there a recovery time between events?
Yes. Every event is followed by a recovery window so athletes can eat, change, and get ready for the next discipline.
How does the ranking work?
- Each event is timed with a chip. Rankings update in real time, with no processing delay.
- Scoring is by placement: 2nd place earns 2 points, 5th place earns 5 points, and so on. The athlete or team with the fewest points at the end wins.
- An overall race time is also calculated as the sum of all 8 event times.
Can the bike and wetsuit be rented?
Yes. Both the bike and the wetsuit can be rented on the event page once registration opens.
Do the OPEN and MASTER heats have different start times?
Yes. In both H12 and H24, the OPEN heat starts at least 2 hours before the MASTER heat. MASTER athletes who want to race in OPEN can request a switch at their own disadvantage by emailing support@steelmanh24race.com.
Will there be a Kids' area?
Yes. From 2026 there will be a dedicated Kids' area so families can enjoy the race safely and with fun.
If I don't complete an event, will I be disqualified?
No. If an event is not completed for any reason, you are placed last for that event and can continue with the rest of the race.
Will there be an Athletes' Area for rest periods?
Yes. Next to the stadium, athletes have access to a secured 400 sqm hall to rest and store equipment, watched by our Security team.
